Puffs FX
Anomaly and General Mills approached Deeplocal with the task of creating a musical experience that brought the brands "More Yes" ethos to life.
Deeplocal proposed, RP-FX, a first-of-its-kind, playable cereal box powered by a custom AR web app. Available on grocery store shelves everywhere, Reese’s Puffs RP-FX boxes let fans create beats using only their phone & favorite cereal. For this experience, we developed (3) collectible custom web-based synthesizers that could be accessed once you purchased a compatible cereal box. This deceptively deep experience had dozens of samples, synth patches, FX & even song sharing capabilities... basically everything you'd need to produce your tracks at the breakfast table.
For professional synth-heads, we designed, engineered & built a short run of groove boxes called the RP-PRO. This synthesizer came complete with custom-molded Reese’s Puffs buttons, built-in sampler, dome visualizer and pour-out compartment to stash your Reese's Puffs.
