Chad Calcagno

I am a Creative Producer and Marketing leader that loves living at the intersection of creativity, technology, and strategy.

Over the last decade, I have had the opportunity to produce projects spanning everything from commercials, to Time Square experiential activations, to winning CES two years in a row including building an amusement park ride, to spending a month with Vice in Kenya following Somali pirates for a Sundance-winning film, with some crazy Netflix Socks in between.

Along the way, I have been very fortunate to have projects with billions of impressions and fancy awards but I personally find joy in producing projects that leave the user feeling something in their gut.

I love to take on any challenge be it logistical or creative and find joy in creative problem-solving at the highest level. I enjoy opportunities to balance creativity with business acumen.

I started my career in the camera department for film and commercials. After founding a commercial production, Quanti Studios (acquired by AltarTV). I spent 2 years as a Post Production producer building out the company's infrastructure and workflow to launch 200 episodes in 18 months. I joined Deeplocal as a producer with a specialty in video to help expand the company's video capabilities. Over the next 7+ years, my role expanded from video producer to senior integrated producer to Managing Director.

During my time at Deeplocal, I have had the pleasure of working and building relationships with the world's best brands directly creating campaigns that have gone viral garnering over 1.5B media impressions organically. My day-to-day was overseeing Deeplocal’s experiential business unit and team's growth into one of the world's premier creative technology agencies known for being able to pull off the impossible with a smile.

Recently I left Deeplocal to find my next chapter of learning and personal growth.

Along the way, I launched a salsa company, with the amazing artist and former NFL player Baron Batch. Angrymansalsa.com

Every project on this site was a labor of love for so many people from the client, agency, and partners. It takes an army and I wish I could credit everyone but did not want to risk forgetting anyone. <3 You all know who you are #thestrengthisinthecrew #rollwiththewinners
